Prince Harry and Meghan Markle allegedly want to buy a house on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.

In its Oct. 18 issue, Life & Style claimed that Prince Harry and Markle have always been contented with their mansion in Montecito.

But their recent trip to New York made them realize how sensible it is to have a house there as well.

A source claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now eyeing property on Manhattan’s Upper East Side in Tribeca. And if they will close a deal with their realtor, they can become neighbors with Jennifer Lawrence, Jake Gyllenhaal, Harry Styles, and Justin Timberlake.

“They want to enjoy the best of both worlds – a city pad on the East Coast and a country house on the West Coast,” the source said.

The insider added that Prince Harry and Markle are planning to be bi-coastal until their children start elementary school. However, Montecito will still be their main home.

According to the source, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to close a deal on a property sometime next month. After all, Prince Harry already planned his return to the Big Apple then.

He will allegedly honor the military veterans at the Intrepid Museum’s 2021 Salute to Freedom Gala.

The source added that Prince Harry is especially keen on staying in New York. After all, he has a lot of friends in the state.

The Duke of Sussex also allegedly wants to fly to London to see Queen Elizabeth more often. And living in New York is just more convenient for him and his family.

“It’s only a five-hour flight away from the UK,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

Prince Harry and Markle have not expressed any desire to relocate to New York or to even just buy a house there.

This doesn’t make sense because the former senior working royals won’t be frequenting the Big Apple.

While it is true that they spent four days in the state for a series of engagements, they don’t have a schedule to return to New York for work anytime soon.

Since Prince Harry and Markle have the resources, they don’t also need to stay in New York just to make their flight to London shorter.

They can stay in Los Angeles and take flights to London if they want to visit the royal family at any given time.
