Britney Spears is allegedly refusing to sign a prenuptial agreement with her fiancé, Sam Asghari.

In its Sept. 27 issue, Heat UK claimed that Spears’ family and friends are urging her to sign a prenuptial agreement so that she could protect her wealth. However, the “Toxic” singer is refusing to do so because she trusts Asghari so much.

A source claimed that Spears and Asghari have been together for so long that the singer feels they know each other very well. So, Spears can’t imagine Asghari ever using her for money.

“Her lawyer has been on the phone, urging her to get a prenup. In fact, her whole team is shouting that she needs to lay down some paperwork to protect herself. It’s standard practice for any celebrity, especially someone like Britney,” the source said.

However, Spears allegedly insists that a prenup isn’t necessarily, at least not with Asghari.

“Britney trusts Sam implicitly. He’s been her rock and made her feel like a human being when everyone else treated her like a commodity. She’s determined not to complicate their relationship with more paperwork. They’ve seen enough of that last ten lifetimes,” the source said.

Asghari has also weighed in on discussions regarding his prenup with Spears. He joked on social media that they would definitely get one so that he could protect his jeep and shoe collection in case their marriage doesn’t work out.

Of course, Asghari is just joking. The tabloid insists that there will be no prenup for the couple especially since Spears wants a simple life.

After so many years of being under a conservatorship, this is the first time in the singer’s life that she’s free to do anything. So, she plans to do things her way.

The source also said that Spears doesn’t mind spending all the money she earned while she was under her dad’s care and just earning it all again.

After all, the singer allegedly sees her past income as dirty money because she earned it while under a conservatorship.

However, not all the tabloid’s claims are correct. In fact, no one knows for sure what Spears and Asghari plan to do with regards to a prenuptial agreement. After all, this is a private matter and they won’t likely discuss it in public.

The couple also just got engaged so there are a lot of things they need to figure out first.
