Jennifer Lopez is allegedly preparing for her upcoming wedding to Ben Affleck, and they’re getting help from their respective children.  

In its September 27 issue, New Idea claimed that Lopez and Affleck got engaged in July during their Mediterranean getaway that’s why they are already in the planning stages of their wedding.

A source claimed that the proposal took place while they were on a yacht and now it’s full steam ahead on their wedding plans.

“It might be because Ben proposed on water, it might be because he protected Jen in Venice, but they’ve both fallen in love with the idea of getting married there. Venice is almost obscenely romantic,” the source said.

The insider added that Lopez and Affleck’s family and friends would be expecting an invitation from them. But this wouldn’t be a problem because they are planning to go all out on their nuptials.

According to the source, Lopez and Affleck’s children are also involved in wedding planning.

Lopez’s 13-year-old daughter, Emme has allegedly been showing her photos of wedding gowns on Pinterest to give her a peg.

“The girls get a kick out of watching Ben and Jen blush when they start asking about wedding dates and vows Emme’s even pulled together a private Pinterest-type album of dress ideas for her mom. There’s not going to be any day before cancelations this time,” the source said.

The tabloid is alluding to Lopez and Affleck’s decision to not push through with their wedding years ago. The couple had been engaged for quite some time, but on the day before their nuptials, they announced their decision to go their separate ways.

And this isn’t the only time wherein Lopez had to end her engagement. A similar thing happened earlier this year when she and Alex Rodriguez decided to call it quits.

However, the tabloids said that things seem to be going really well for Lopez and Affleck. And no one would ever expect that the exes would reconcile 18 years later.

And now that their kids are all grown up, Lopez and Affleck can focus on each other and their relationship. And it’s only a matter of time before the singer-actress walks down the aisle again.

However, the tabloid’s claims seem too over-the-top. Lopez and Affleck are not yet engaged so there’s no reason for them to already start planning their wedding.
