Prince Harry is allegedly being likened to the late King Edward VIII because they share a slew of similarities.

In its September 27 issue, Globe claimed that Prince Harry and King Edward both have weak personalities because they can easily be overpowered by their strong-willed wives.

When he was still alive, King Edward VIII rocked The Firm when he announced his decision to step down from his royal duties. He said that he is choosing his love for American divorcee Wallace Simpson over his duties to The Crown.

In a similar fashion, Prince Harry also quit his royal duties so that he and his wife, Meghan Markle could live a quieter and more peaceful life in the United States.

A source also alleged that King Edward VIII vowed his support for the Nazis decades ago, which further humiliated the royal family.

And even though Prince Harry didn’t do the same, he and his wife also humiliated the royal family in a different way.

Following their Megxit last year, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were accused of trash-talking the royal family, most especially Prince Charles.

In March, the couple sat down for an interview with Oprah Winfrey, where they said that some royals had concerns over their son Archie’s skin color.

Prince Harry and Markle also claimed that they experienced bullying within The Firm. And they also revealed that Markle thought about killing herself because of all the criticisms she was receiving.

And when Prince Harry asked for help on behalf of his wife, he said that the palace staff refused to send Markle to a professional for fear that the story would explode.

“The similarities between the couples are mind-blowing. It’s like they’re two peas in a pod. Sadly, the likenesses are really bad. The Windsors and Sussexes were and are spoiled, greedy, selfish, and arrogant. History will not treat them kindly,” the source said.

This is not the first time that Markle and Prince Harry were likened to Simpson and King Edward VIII.

After the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their engagement in 2017, multiple publications already said that they are similar to the late couple. After all, both Simpson and Markle are American divorcees.

The similarities became graver after Prince Harry and Markle quit The Firm because they were accused of following in the other couple’s footsteps.
