Prince Charles Allegedly Ordered Harry, Meghan To Pay $12 Million After Mocking Queen Elizabeth
Prince Charles has allegedly ordered Prince Harry and Meghan Markle $12 million after they mocked Queen Elizabeth earlier this month.
In its August 30 issue, Globe claimed that the royal family is reeling with how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made fun of them on Markle’s 40th birthday video.
The Suits alum launched her 40x40 initiative with the help of funny woman Melissa McCarthy.
McCarthy donned a floral dress with a hat that’s commonly worn by royals. She was also spotted sipping tea just like Her Majesty.
A source claimed that the royal family wasn’t thrilled with how Prince Harry and Markle mocked them. So, on top of having to pay $12 million, they have also been banned from setting foot in the United Kingdom.
“Meghan thumbed her nose at her royal in-laws one time too many. Taking such a blatant swipe at Her Majesty shows Meghan is a fame-obsessed social climber who was a royal misfit from the beginning. She clearly sees herself as the queen of Hollywood and far better than any of the royal family she quit,” the source said.
The insider added that after everything that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have done since they quit, the royal family is finally retaliating.
Prince Charles is particularly upset because he even helped the couple financially after they quit The Firm. And now that they can afford their lavish life following their back-to-back deals, they have seemingly forgotten about Prince Charles’ good deeds.
“Prince Charles wants to stop Meghan shamelessly trading off her royal life. Banning her from Britain is likely the first step in renouncing her royal status forever. No one mocks the monarch and gets away with it,” the source said.
While it is true that Prince Harry and Markle received flak for seemingly mocking the queen and the royals, it’s not true that they have been banned from the U.K.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex cannot be banned from setting foot in the country just on those grounds.
It is also important to note that Prince Charles doesn’t have the power to ban anyone from entering the country.
Meanwhile, royal commentator Angela Levin also weighed in on the controversy.
She said that the mockery on Markle’s birthday shows what she really thinks of the royal family. Markle already got what she wanted when she quit The Firm, and she thinks she can outsmart everyone.
