The Penthouse season 3 will be extended and has been confirmed to have an additional two more episodes. Along with that, new stills have been released and teased what’s coming next for the characters of Uhm Ki Joon and Kim Young Dae.

On Thursday, July 29, the production team confirmed that The Penthouse season 3 is going to have a two-episode extension “in order to achieve a successful conclusion with a more solid ending.” From the originally planned 12 episodes, the South Korean drama will now have a total of 14 episodes.

Aside from the announcement, new stills of Uhm Ki Joon as Joo Dan Tae and Kim Young Dae as Joo Seok Hoon have been released, as well. Their situation will become more complicated after everything that happened in the previous episodes.

Joo Seok Hoon was very angry when he found out that Joo Dan Tae played a part in Oh Yoon Hee’s (Eugene) death. But, in an unexpected turn of events, Joo Seok Hoo saved Joo Dan Tae when he was caught up in a middle of a dangerous situation.

In exchange for that, Joo Seok Hoon told him that he won’t push him away as long as Joo Dan Tae promised he won’t let his mother get hurt. In the recently-released new still, the former can be seen going to the latter’s office, presumably to start working for him.

Joo Dan Tae looks amused with what’s happening as Joo Seok Hoon approaches him with an intense stare. Joo Dan Tae then smiled and hugged Joo Seok Hoon, who remained with a stiff facial expression. Clearly, the two are in a more complicated situation the in next episodes of The Penthouse season 3.

Apart from the new stills, some behind-the-scenes snaps were also released showing a different vibe of Uhm Ki Joon and Kim Young Dae when the cameras were off. The two actors were smiling together as they share a warm conversation.

“Uhm Ki Joon and Kim Young Dae are actors who have captivating charisma. Please watch their relationship until the end and find out if Joo Seok Hoon will fall for the devilish whispers,” the production team teased.

The Penthouse season 3 continues following the residents of Hera Place after the trials. At the same time, it also focused on their kids who are preparing to take the college entrance examination. More secrets are being revealed and betrayals follow as the story progresses.
