Dieter Brummer's Cause Of Death Raises Concern, Did He Commit Suicide?
The well-known "Home and Away" actor Dieter Brummer was found dead at the age of 45, and the cause of his death draws public attention as suicide rumors went viral.
The Sydney Morning Herald reported that local police discovered Dieter Brummer's body inside his home in Glenhaven, Sydney at 1: 30 pm on Saturday, July 24 (Local time), following requests for a welfare check.
There is no official conclusion on the cause of his death. The Police said Brummer's death "is not believed to be suspicious," but a report "will be prepared for the information of the coroner."
Brummer's family release a statement via fellow actor Steve Comey on Monday morning, "We lost our handsome, talented, funny, complicated and beloved Dieter on Saturday morning."
"He has left a massive hole in our lives and our world will never be the same." The statement said. "Our thoughts go out to all of you who knew him, loved him, or worked with him over the years. We appreciate you respecting our privacy at this terrible time."
The Seven Network, which airs Home and Away in Australia, released a statement on Instagram, " Home and Away and @channel7 are deeply saddened to hear of Dieter Brummer's passing. Dieter was a much-loved Home and Away cast member and celebrated by Australian and international audiences for his award-winning portrayal of Shane Parrish. We send our sincere condolences to Dieter’s family and friends during this very difficult time."
Neighbors studio also expressed their grief on Twitter, "Vale Dieter Brummer, joined the Neighbors alumni in 2012 as Capt. Troy Miller. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. "
Lynne McGranger, who plays Irene Roberts on Home And Away, tweeted: "So very sad. Please reach out. Ask if people are doing okay. And tell someone if YOU'RE not okay! Yell over the fence, call, message, Facebook, whatever it takes.
"I'm no expert but surely sharing your fears, anxieties, dark thoughts must help lessen their impact. God bless DB fly high." Lynne McGranger wrote on Twitter.
Emily Symons, who plays Marilyn Chambers on Home and Away, shared her sorrow on Instagram. "I can't believe this absolutely tragic news. Dieter was such a lovely, kind, genuine person. I always enjoyed working with him. I will never forget his beautiful smile, he was a much loved member of our Home and Away family. Thinking of his loved ones at this difficult time"
Georgie Parker, who plays Ruth "Roo" Stewart on Home and Away, said "I can't imagine how his family and loved ones feel. Much love to them, such terrible news, he was a lovely man."
Rumors Regarding Brummer's Cause Of Death
Due to the unclear report from police officials and the family statement saying "he has left a massive hole in our lives", fans and some reports assumed that Dieter Brummer committed suicide.
