Ben Affleck is allegedly planning his proposal to Jennifer Lopez.

In its July 19 issue, New Idea claimed that Affleck decided to pop the question because of the support he’s been receiving from his family, friends, and fans.

Unlike before, Affleck doesn’t feel spooked by his fans clamoring for him and Lopez to get married.

“Ben is on board although he didn’t imagine it happening this fast. He’s been down this road before,” the source said.

Lopez also allegedly has an idea that Affleck would propose on her birthday. And she’s not been shy about telling him what ring she wants.

“She’s made it clear that the new ring should be bigger and better than the first one,” the source said.

Two decades ago, Affleck gifted Lopez with a 6.1-carat pink diamond ring. And according to sources, the ring is still with Lopez.

Meanwhile, even though Affleck still hasn’t proposed to Lopez, the tabloid insisted that the latter has already been looking for her wedding gown.

A photo of Lopez looking at a white dress was published by the tabloid to make their dubious claims a bit more convincing.

However, Lopez wasn’t looking at a wedding gown during her visit to a clothing store in Miami. Rather, she was simply looking at a white dress.

As of late, there is still no confirmation that Affleck would propose to Lopez anytime soon. After all, the exes just got back together recently.

Shortly after Lopez announced her split from Alex Rodriguez in April, she started hanging out with Affleck. Weeks later, Lopez introduced the Batman v Superman star to her twins, Max and Emme.

In related news, Lopez and Affleck have been photographed getting cozy with each other in public on multiple occasions.

Most recently, the happy couple was photographed celebrating during the Fourth of July weekend in the Hamptons.

Affleck placed his arm around Lopez, while the actress’s arm was also wrapped in Affleck’s waist.

And during her interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 last week, Lopez confirmed that she’s very happy. Even though the mom of two didn’t mention Affleck during her interview, it seemed as though he’s one of the reasons why she’s happy.

“I’m super happy. I know people are always wondering. How are you? What’s going on? Are you okay? This is it. I’ve never been better. And I want my people who care about me because I care about them so much, to know that I’ve really gotten to a place in my life where I'm great on my own,” she said.
