FX’s American Horror Story spin-off American Horror Stories was first announced in May 2020. Now, the anthology horror series is nearing its official premiere and the network has finally revealed the list of the cast members. There are new and familiar faces coming on board.

The official Twitter account of the flagship show dropped a clip confirming the official cast members of American Horror Stories, as well as the characters they're going to play. Overall, 21 names have been confirmed to be appearing in the spin-off.

The new faces on the franchise include Virginia Gardner as Bernadette, Gavin Creel as Troy, Danny Trejo as Santa Claus, Sierra McCormick as Scarlett, Amy Grabow as Tipper Gore, Ashley Martin Carter as Rowena, and Kyle Red Silverstein as Quinn.

The spin-off also features Paris Jackson as Maya, Madison Bailey as Kelley, Belissa Escobedo as Shanti, Rhenzy Feliz as Chad, Aaron Tveit as Adam, Kaia Gerber as Ruby, Kevin McHale as Barry, Dyllon Burnside as James, Charles Melton as Wyatt, and Nico Greetham is Zinn.

Meanwhile, the returning AHS veterans include Matt Bomer as Michael, John Carroll Lynch as Larry Bitterman, Billie Lourd as Liv Whitley, and Naomi Grossman as Rabid Ruth. These names have already appeared in at least one season of the main show.

While the official cast members of American Horror Stories have been revealed, the official plot details of the spin-off remain unknown. But, unlike the season-long story arc in the flagship show, the upcoming series will instead follow self-contained anthological episodes.

American Horror Stories was originally set to air on FX but it was later moved on FX on Hulu. The spin-off series contains a total of seven episodes and will be premiering on Thursday, July 15, 2021. The series is reportedly directed by AHS vet Sarah Paulson.

Meanwhile, the tenth season of American Horror Story is coming this August on FX. The latest installment is subtitled Double Feature, which already suggests that it’ll follow two stories – one set by the sea and one set by the ocean.

There have been a lot of teasers released for season 10, including the possible return of Murder House from season 1. A reference for the Rubber Man, the Rubber Woman, was also teased in previous trailers. But, like the spin-off, the storyline is being kept under wraps.

American Horror Story season 10 cast members include Finn Wittrock, Leslie Grossman, Angelica Ross, Billie Lourd, Lily Rabe, Adina Porter, Evan Peters, and newcomer Macaulay Culkin. The anthology series is set to return on Sunday, August 15, 2021.
