Madonna Reportedly Threw Shade At Ex-Husband Guy Ritchie On Father’s Day
Madonna reportedly threw shade at her ex-husband, Guy Ritchie on Father’s Day.
In its July 5 issue, New Idea claimed that Madonna threw a slight dig at Ritchie by greeting herself on Father’s Day.
This suggested that her ex-husband never acted like a dad to their children.
A source claimed that Madonna and Guy have not been on good terms since their split in 2008.
“Madonna and Guy haven’t seen eye to eye since they split. There’s a long-term battle for Rocco’s affections. And word is, Madonna’s still smarting from Rocco choosing to live with his dad in London in 2014.
Meanwhile, the award-winning singer also made headlines this week after In Touch Weekly dubbed her and Rihanna as neighbors from hell.
The tabloid alleged that Madonna and Rihanna have some outrageous demands in their neighborhood. And they do not want tour buses to enter their street because they believe that it should be private.
However, the A-listers’ other neighbors who are equally rich but are not considered celebrities don’t mind the tour buses entering their street.
“They’re trying to get a gate at the bottom of the block because they hate that the buses keep coming up and down the street. They want their street to become a private gated community,” the source said.
As of late, Madonna’s neighbors have not publicly raised their concerns about the singer. This proves that Madonna has not made such an outrageous demand in her neighborhood.
When it comes to the singer’s relationship with Ritchie, it is not true that they are estranged.
Just last year, the exes were photographed with their two children at an art exhibition in London.
According to Cheatsheet, there were rumors that Madonna had to pay Ritchie a whopping $78 million to $92 million following their divorce.
However, the singer soon revealed that the figures are inaccurate. But she also refused to disclose how much her ex-husband made following their split.
Madonna and Ritchie first met in 1998. Two years later, they had their son, Rocco. And they also tied the knot in the same year.
Shortly after, the A-listers had another child. And they decided to call it quits in 2008.
The “Papa Don’t Preach” singer is reportedly worth $850 million. So, the amount that had to give Ritchie didn’t reportedly leave much impact on her massive net worth.
