Bindi Irwin’s dad, Steve would allegedly be disappointed with his daughter after the reality TV star slammed her grandfather on social media.

On Father’s Day, Bindi paid tribute to her late dad, her husband, and her father-in-law. The Dancing With the Stars winner left out her grandfather, and one fan asked her why.

Bindi didn’t shy away from saying that she has no relationship with her grandfather. She also accused her grandfather of being abusive.

In its July 5 issue, New Idea claimed that Steve would be disappointed with his daughter if he was still alive.

“Steve was always family first… he wouldn’t have wanted this at all. This situation is truly complicated and everybody involved has their own experience. Terri knows a lot more than what has been publicly saying,” the source said.

After posting her cryptic message on Facebook, several of Bindi’s relatives slammed her for her post. And the majority of them countered the reality TV star’s allegations against her grandfather.

Shortly after, Bindi announced that she will take a break from social media to focus on her work and her role as a mom.

This isn’t the first time that Bindi became involved with a controversy alongside her estranged grandfather.

In March, Globe claimed that Bindi wanted to extend an olive branch at her grandfather so that he could meet her daughter, Grace.

Unfortunately, Bindi’s mom didn’t want her to reach out to her grandfather because of their estranged relationship.

“Bindi wants the birth to be a happy, special day for everyone. Whatever Bob did or said was ages ago and Bindi believes Terri needs to forgive him for everyone’s sake. Bob quit the Australia Zoo, which he founded because he didn’t like the way Terri was turning it into another Disneyland. Terri didn’t stop him from going and they haven’t spoken a civil word since,” the source said.” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. There is no indication that Bindi tried to reach out to her grandfather before the birth of her daughter.

And based on what she recently said in her Facebook post, she doesn’t have a relationship with her grandfather.

It is unclear if the family’s issues will ever be resolved. But fans of the Irwins are most likely hoping for the best.
