Princess Beatrice allegedly broke down in tears after learning that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry decided to name their daughter Lilibet.

In its June 21 issue, New Idea claimed that Princess Beatrice has always wanted to give the name Lilibet to her first child if it’s a girl.

But now that Prince Harry and Markle already gave the name to their daughter, there’s no way that she could also give her baby girl the same moniker.

“Beatrice got teary-eyed when she heard they’d gone with Lili and with good reason. Everyone knew she had planned ever since she was a little girl to call her firstborn daughter Lily, inspired by her grandmother. Now that dream is in tatters, and she’s heartbroken,” the source said.

As of late, Princess Beatrice still doesn’t know if she will be having a baby girl. And this proves that the tabloid’s claims are dubious.

Still, they insisted that Princess Beatrice feels in her heart that she’s having a baby girl. But the royal’s alleged feelings cannot determine her reaction to Markle and Prince Harry giving their daughter the name Lilibet.

Meanwhile, the tabloid also claimed that Princess Beatrice will be away to get back at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex because her unborn child will be given a royal title.

Since Princess Beatrice’s husband is a count through his Italian heritage, their firstborn will most likely be given a title.

Prince Harry and Markle’s two children, on the other hand, weren’t given royal titles.

And in related news, Princess Beatrice isn’t the only member of the royal family who seems upset with Prince Harry and Markle.

Prince Edward also weighed in on Prince Harry’s rift with the royal family. He said that it’s heartbreaking to hear all the stories from the Duke of Sussex.

But he also stressed that their family – even though they are royals – are just like any other family in the world. And this means that they do not always get along or agree on certain issues.
