Ellen DeGeneres allegedly wants to tie the knot with Portia de Rossi again.

In its June 21 issue, National Enquirer claimed that DeGeneres wasn’t blind to the fact that de Rossi has always been her greatest support system throughout the past decade.

And during her most challenging time, de Rossi stood by DeGeneres’ side, and she supported the comedian through it all.

Now, a source is claiming that the Ellen Show host wants to honor de Rossi by asking her to marry her again. The couple first tied the knot in 2008.

“This has been a tough year for everyone, but Ellen and Portia have had more than their share of problems. Portia has been Ellen’s rock. And when Portia woke up in excruciating pain from her inflamed appendix, Ellen took her to the hospital and stood by her side through surgery to let her know she would be waiting for her,” the source said.

After de Rossi recovered from her surgery, DeGeneres allegedly realized that she couldn’t live without her wife. So, she’s now planning a simple vow-renewal service with de Rossi.

Following their second wedding, DeGeneres and de Rossi will allegedly go on their second honeymoon. As of late, it is still unclear where the couple will spend their special day.

“They feel like they’ve been through the fire together and believe this is the best way to confirm their undying love,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

It is not unusual for DeGeneres and de Rossi to support each other because they are married. So, the tabloid’s claim that DeGeneres stood by de Rossi’s side during her surgery is quite absurd.

This shouldn’t come as a surprise because DeGeneres would’ve been there for de Rossi during this difficult time regardless if they are public figures or not.

In the same light, it’s not also unusual for de Rossi to support her wife amid claims of bullying and a toxic environment on the set of Ellen Show.

As of late, there’s also no proof that DeGeneres wants to propose to de Rossi again. But if the couple is really planning to renew their vows, then it’s not also shocking.

DeGeneres and de Rossi’s relationship is one of the strongest among other couples from the LGBTQIA community in Hollywood.
