Rumors about Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez getting back together spread like wildfire when the ex-couple was spotted spending time together in Montana less than a month ago. Now, new speculation emerged that the two were already engaged and the pop star told her ex-beau Marc Anthony about it.

Lopez and Affleck were both singles at the moment, which is why a lot of reports surfaced that the two got back together and rekindled their romance. The singer called off her engagement with baseball player Alex Rodriguez, while the actor broke up with actress Ana de Armas.

Shortly after the news about them on vacation in Montana, many suspected that they’re finding their happiness and were engaged now. Once called “Bennifer” by fans, their alleged relationship is said to be known to the people close to them.

For instance, one publication claimed that Lopez told her ex Anthony that she is planning to marry Affleck. At first, Woman’s Day reported that the Argo actor proposed to the pop star in Miami last month and they’re already planning their wedding, which will be held in the same location.

The outlet added that Lopez and Affleck will be using their vision in their supposed 2003 wedding and, this time, with their collective five children. The tabloid also cited a source providing more details on the alleged nuptials of the former couple.

“Ben wants [his] boys to be groomsmen and Casey [Affleck, his brother] to be his best man. This is about family this time, and they want everyone involved – from Marc to provide music and Jen’s dad to walk her down the aisle,” the insider said.

Then, the publication asserted that Lopez’s ex-husband Anthony was one of the first people who learned about the wedding. Allegedly, the two were spotted having lunch together while discussing her upcoming nuptials with the actor.

 “It wasn’t an easy conversation as she was engaged to someone else a few short months ago,” the unnamed insider spilled.

The outlet noted that Anthony is happy for his ex-wife. However, the same source commented on Lopez being tied to another man after breaking her engagement off with Rodriguez, noting it’s “weird as it’s like she swapped grooms after coming so close to marrying Rodriguez.”

Meanwhile, Woman Day’s claim is just one of the many reports following Affleck and Lopez’s time together in Montana. Similarly, In Touch published an article about the two just a week ago that also claimed the couple was already engaged.

At the moment, it remains unclear what Affleck and Lopez are planning for their future. Although they’ve been together in the past, some things have changed over the past years. Right now, there’s no confirmed report that they were already engaged or Lopez telling her ex-husband about it.
