Prince Harry reportedly sent Kate Middleton a text message because he’s planning to set things straight between him and his older brother, Prince William. After welcoming his second child, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, with Meghan Markle, the Duke of Sussex is said to be attempting to heal the alleged rift now.

Over the past few months, the Sussexes have made a series of allegations against the Royal Family. Their interview with Oprah Winfrey, in particular, has sparked more rumors and speculations about the relationship between the couple and the Firm.

However, it seems like the feud is coming to an end after Prince Harry allegedly reached out to Middleton a text following Lilibet Diana’s birth. According to a report from Daily Mail, the Duke of Sussex sent his sister-in-law a text message to help him heal the chaos surrounding them.

It is believed that he reached out to the Duchess of Cambridge after facing criticisms for naming their daughter Lilibet, the childhood nickname of Queen Elizabeth II. Her husband Prince Philip, who passed away in April 2021, also used this name to refer to Her Majesty in recent times.

During the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral, Middleton may have tried to act as a peacemaker between Prince Harry and Prince William. Their grandfather’s funeral marked the first time the two reunited since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down from the Firm in March 2020.

According to Brian Hoey, Middleton is going to be the “rock the monarchy will depend on.” The author, who has written Prince William’s biography, told The Sun back in April that, “They say cometh the hour, cometh the man. But in the Royal Family's case, it’s a woman.”

The rift between Prince Harry and Prince William has been circulating over the past few years, with the Duke of Sussex hinting at the feud in one of his interviews in 2019. Allegedly, the tension started when the Duke of Cambridge told his younger brother to take things slow with Markle.

The rumors persisted when the Sussexes decided to leave the Firm and live a new life in the United States. Then, the relationship between the couple and the Royal Family was further tainted when the two did a tell-all interview with Winfrey.

Right now, it is not clear whether Prince Harry, indeed, reached out to Middleton to clear up the rumors that have been tailing them for the past years. The Duke of Sussex will reunite with Prince William this coming July 1 to unveil the statue of their late mother, Princess Diana.
