Meghan Markle Pregnancy Rumors: Archie’s Baby Brother Or Sister Arriving Next Year?
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could welcome their second child next year.
While speaking with OK! magazine, royal author Katie Nicholl talked about Archie’s first birthday celebration on May 6.
Since Prince Harry and Markle are quarantining in their home in Los Angeles, Archie’s party took place indoors. And now that the adorable baby is already 1 year old, there is a possibility for the royal couple to give him a sibling.
“A little brother or sister for Archie is very much on the agenda. Harry said they’d stop at two so that’s a good indication that two is the magic number for them. They do have a lot going on at the moment, looking for a permanent residence, preparing for the launch of their charity and finding their feet in a new town, but they seem to relish being busy and it really wouldn’t surprise me if we get a pregnancy announcement,” she said.
Since Nicholl thinks that a pregnancy announcement is looming this year, it is unlikely for Markle to also give birth in 2020. It is more likely for the “Suits” alum to welcome baby number two early next year if she announces her pregnancy in the coming weeks.
At present, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very hands-on with Archie. Nicholl said that they don’t need a chef or a butler to help them out. But when the couple welcomes their second child, it is possible for them to hire more help.
Meanwhile, showbiz reporter Sam Rubin also talked about some of the activities that Archie enjoys.
“Thanks to the good climate, Archie will enjoy a great outdoors lifestyle growing up. Harry plays polo, so when Archie’s older he might want to take him riding at one of the exclusive equestrian centers. Hiking and surfing will also be on offer,” Rubin said.
When Archie gets a little bit older, he will also start going to school. Rubin said that Blue Ivy’s school, The Center for Early Education in West Hollywood may be at the top of Prince Harry and Markle’s list.
Another contender is the Nest School in Brentwood, which offers yoga, art appreciation, and language skills classes.
Nicholl added that Archie’s life will be very different from the life of his cousins, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Archie’s life in the United States will be less formal and less traditional.
Archie will also grow up with an American accent, and an entirely different culture from Prince William and Kate Middleton’s kids.
