Prince William allegedly called a summit with the royal family to discuss Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s recent statements against them.

In its June 14 issue, New Idea claimed that Prince William already has so much power within the royal family. Even though he’s still second in line to the throne, the queen has already granted him permission to call a summit whenever he feels the need to.

Prior to the summit, Prince William and Princess Anne allegedly had a discussion about the Sussexes. The senior royals have always been aware that Prince Harry and Markle would be a disgrace to the royal family.

But they didn’t realize the extent of what the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could do.

“Even before Harry and Meghan severed ties, William and Anne agreed they were going to be a nightmare from an organizational and public relations perspective. But even they are surprised by the extent of how right they were,” the source said.

So, during his trip to Edinburgh, Prince William allegedly took the opportunity to call on all senior members of the royal family to join him for a summit. His goal was to solve this dilemma once and for all.

The meeting was urgent because Prince William wanted to sort things up before Prince Harry even flies back to the United Kingdom for the unveiling of Princess Diana’s statue.

“There’s a lot at stake here, and the family risks looking weak if they don’t stand up to serious accusations that they were racist and neglected Meghan and Harry’s mental health to the point of her suicidal ideation, among other things,” the source said.

Prince William and Princess Anne are also allegedly insisting that Prince Harry and Markle should be cut off financially for good. And the Duke and Duchess of Sussex should also be stripped of their titles.

However, the queen and Prince Charles are worried to go that far because it could backfire on them and the monarchy as a whole.

As of late, there is no proof that Prince William called a summit for the royal family to discuss Prince Harry and Markle’s recent statements.

By the looks of it, he doesn’t need to because the royals are known for not responding to the controversy.

It seems that the tabloid is just pitting Prince William against the Sussexes again. And this is a very old premise that the tabloids cannot move on from.
