Katie Holmes has allegedly found love and it’s not with her chef boyfriend, Emilio Vitolo.

In its May 31 issue, New Idea claimed that Holmes called it quits with Vitolo because she has found another man. And the Dawson’s Creek star is allegedly dating Alexander Skarsgard.

“It started as just a friendly call and an invitation for coffee. Since then, no one’s heard a peep out of her or him. They’ve both gone quiet and everyone’s convinced they’ve continued to meet up but in secret. Makes a change from her last romance, that’s for sure,” the source said.

The insider added that Holmes and Skarsgard developed a close relationship with each other after they starred in the movie, The Giver in 2014.

According to the source, the co-stars continued hanging out even after the filming wrapped. But they eventually stopped because of Skarsgard's busy schedule. 

 Back then, Holmes was also being pursued by Jamie Foxx. And the mom of one decided to date him instead of Skarsgard because the musician didn't take no for an answer. 

The source added that it was a case of the wrong place at the wrong time for Holmes and Skarsgard.

However, the tabloid was unable to provide concrete proof that Holmes and Skarsgard have already been hanging out secretly. There is also no proof that the co-stars developed something special after starred in The Giver years ago.

It is important to note that Holmes and Foxx dated secretly for years. And Skarsgard never once gave an interview saying that he wanted to court Holmes during this time.

Throughout the past couple of weeks, there have been claims that Holmes and Vitolo have already ended their relationship simply because they have not been seen in public in months.

But it is important to note that Holmes and Vitolo have quite a busy schedule right now. The actress is busy with an upcoming project, and Vitolo is helping his dad with their Italian restaurant that was affected by the pandemic.

Just last week, multiple publications claimed that Holmes ended her relationship with Vitolo because she doesn’t trust him completely.

After all, Vitolo was still engaged when he started hanging out with Holmes. The chef also ended his engagement via text after his photos with Holmes were published by the tabloids.

There were claims that if the tabloids didn’t publish Holmes and Vitolo’s loved-up photos last year, the chef wouldn’t have come clean about his engagement to another woman.
