There’s something fishy going on between Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, or at least this is what one tabloid is saying.

In its May 17 issue, Us Weekly claimed that Affleck and Lopez are more than friends.

“They’re definitely hooking up. They’ve seen each other multiple times – at her place, his place, and met at secret locations,” the source said.

The insider also said that Affleck and Lopez have always loved each other. So, their family and friends won’t be surprised if they decide to officially get back together.

According to the source, Affleck and Lopez didn’t have any plans to flirt with each other. But their heart-to-heart talk reignited the spark between them.

Page Six also published a similar report about Affleck and Lopez days ago.

They said that Lopez’s security picks Affleck up at a nearby location, and they drop him off at another spot after he spends hours at Lopez’s home.

But the same publication retracted their story a few days later when they said that the exes are just friends and they have always been close.

People also claimed that Lopez and Affleck plan to keep hanging out since they have not spent time with each other since they called off their engagement.

“They have a great time hanging out. It's been years since they caught up properly. They have lots to talk about. They plan on hanging out again,” the source said.

However, it’s quite a long shot to assume that Lopez and Affleck are interested in dating each other. It is possible that they want to hang out more as friends and not because they want to be romantically linked to each other all over again.

Meanwhile, reports about Affleck and Lopez’s friendship surfaced shortly after the latter announced her split from Alex Rodriguez.

In March, the A-listers confirmed that their wedding will no longer push through. Days later, reports revealed that the exes were still trying to fix their relationship because they are committed to each other.

However, weeks after they called off their engagement, Lopez and Rodriguez released a joint statement saying that they are better off as friends and business partners.

Following reports of Affleck and Lopez’s rekindled relationship, Rodriguez also stepped out in public with his ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis.

The latter previously accused the baseball star of cheating on her during their marriage. Still, the exes were blessed with two daughters together.
