Drew Barrymore Allegedly Invites Men From Dating Apps Into Her Home
Drew Barrymore doesn’t allegedly want to waste time in finding love. In its May 17 issue, OK! magazine claimed that the actress has been inviting the men that she meets from dating apps into her home.
There are times when the actress does meet-ups for dinner in New York’s Greenwich Village. But there are times when she doesn’t want to leave the house so she just asks them to come over.
“Drew says it’s all very tame, but things are going way better than she expected,” the source said.
The insider also claimed that Barrymore decided to use dating apps after finding out that her ex-husband, Will Kopelman is engaged to fashion journalist Alexandra Michler.
Meanwhile, the tabloid claimed to know the type of man that Barrymore wants to date. They said that the former child star wants a nice guy with a great sense of humor.
Even though Barrymore isn’t specific when it comes to her preference, the only thing that she’s particular about is if the guy she’s dating is funny and has a passion for the arts.
Eventually, Barrymore hopes that she would find a man that she could settle down with. Even though she’s had three failed marriages, the E.T. actress would love to find her life partner very soon.
By the looks of it, the tabloid came up with all sorts of stories about the actress because she previously confessed to using dating apps.
But on her talk show, Barrymore said that it was the Netflix series Bridgerton that inspired her to swipe right. This proves that Barrymore didn’t go on dating apps because her ex-husband got engaged.
The actress also said that she decided to use dating apps after realizing that she might not find her perfect match the old-fashion way.
Earlier this year, the 50 First Dates actress also revealed that she got stood up by her date while using a celebrity dating app.
Barrymore said that the comedy writer that she matched with seemed like a fun guy so she decided to go out on a date with him. However, the writer bailed on her at the exact time that they were supposed to meet.
The actress said that getting stood up felt bad especially since she prepared for their date.
Barrymore also revealed during the same interview the downside to using the dating app. She said that it triggered her longstanding body image issues because of all the women that she’s seeing on the platform.
