Prince Charles Allegedly Takes Control Of British Monarchy While Queen Mourns Husband’s Death
Prince Charles has allegedly taken full control of the British monarchy while Queen Elizabeth is still mourning the death of her husband.
In its May 17 issue, Globe claimed that Prince Charles made the decision to take over the queen’s royal duties. So, he’s not acting as the king in all but his royal title because he hasn’t officially been crowned.
The tabloid claimed that one of the most obvious signs that Prince Charles has taken over the monarchy is his attendance was confirmed at the opening of the Parliament on May 11.
However, it is important to note that the queen is already 95 years old, and she won’t be able to attend all her royal engagements. But this doesn’t mean that she’s passing on her reigns to her eldest son.
Still, the tabloid insisted that Prince Charles has been waiting for the day when he could finally lead the British monarchy. And it has finally arrived.
“He’s spent a lifetime waiting to rule and has grown impatient. He’s decided to seize the moment and blunt calls for Her Majesty to pass the crown to his more popular son William, who many Britons think would make a better king,” the source said.
The insider said that palace courtiers are backing Prince Charles’ decision to take over the monarchy right now because they are worried that if Prince Williams becomes king, he would make catastrophic changes and fire them all.
“The behind-the-scenes battling for power right now is ferocious. The bureaucrats who make up The Firm are desperate and feel backed into a corner,” the source said.
The insider added the courtiers fear that they would lose their jobs and salaries if Prince William steps in and modernizes the monarchy.
Since Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowls are old-school, the palace courtiers are more confident that they would get to keep their prestigious positions if he’s king.
However, British taxpayers do not allegedly want Prince Charles to be their king. In fact, if the decision is up to them, they want Prince William to succeed the queen.
But for now, the queen has more trust in her son to do what’s right for the monarchy. And when the time comes for Prince William to rule, she knows that he will take care of her legacy.
However, there’s one point that the tabloid missed with regards to the royal family’s coronation. The Order of Succession states that Prince Charles will succeed the queen and not Prince William.
And the only time that Prince Charles will be crowned is after the queen dies or abdicates.
