Meghan Markle will allegedly be making her political dreams come true by running for president in the 2024 elections.

According to Woman’s Day, Prince Harry’s wife has always been vocal about her desire to become the president of the United States. In 2015, while she and Piers Morgan were still friends, she reportedly made a surprising revelation.

The Duchess of Sussex told the Good Morning Britain host that her childhood dream was either to become a president or a broadcaster. But when she got older, Markle pursued a career in acting.

A source told the tabloid that Prince Harry and Markle rushed to return to the United States so that the latter could start planning her campaign. Even though the election is four years away, the Duchess of Sussex is already seeking the help of Oprah Winfrey and George Clooney.

The two A-listers have been giving Markle political advice. And since she’s close friends with Winfrey and Clooney, the “Suits” alum allegedly trusts them.

However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. According to Gossip Cop, Markle is not planning to run for president in 2024.

And if she, she won’t seek Clooney’s help. After all, the “Ocean’s Eleven” star previously said that celebrities shouldn’t run for president.

Winfrey, on the other hand, isn’t considered an expert when it comes to politics. In the past, there were rumors suggesting that she would also run for president. However, these claims are also incorrect.

Prince Harry and Markle didn’t relocate to the United States for the latter’s political aspirations. Rather, the royal couple made sure to be in Los Angeles before the border between the country and Canada closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

But according to The Times, the Duke of Sussex may not stay in the United States permanently. The publication said that Prince Harry still hasn’t applied for dual citizenship. A source said that it is also unlikely for Markle’s husband to apply for a green card soon.

However, it is important to note that offices in the United States were closed due to the coronavirus outbreak. And most of the states in the country are still on lockdown.

Prince Harry and Markle just moved to the US in March. And days later, Donald Trump already announced the lockdown. As of late, it is still unclear when the lockdown will be lifted.
