Miranda Lambert Planning A Duet With Blake Shelton After Extending An Olive Branch: Rumor
Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton are finally on good terms.
During a recent interview, Lambert talked about one of the songs she recorded with her ex-husband. She said that "Over You" was a nice song, and it was great writing it with Shelton.
In its April 19 issue, Life & Style is saying that Lambert has finally buried the hatchet with Shelton. And it seems she misses The Voice coach.
A source claimed that Shelton heard Lambert’s remarks, and he was also touched. The insider added that Lambert and Shelton both feel that it’s time to let go of the past because it’s been years since they divorced.
“Their marriage wasn’t all bad. They had a lot of good times and great memories,” the source said.
Now, Shelton is allegedly working towards Lambert and Gwen Stefani’s reconciliation. After all, the two women have had several awkward run-ins at industry events.
According to the source, Shelton never thought that it would be possible for Stefani and Lambert to also bury the hatchet. But when the latter extended an olive branch at him, he realized that there’s still hope.
Lambert previously accused Shelton of starting a relationship with Stefani while they were still together. But the “Nobody But You” singer fired back by saying that it was the other way around.
Meanwhile, another source said that Shelton and Lambert’s fans are looking forward to their reunion on stage. After all, they also made wonderful music together and gave an equally beautiful performance in front of their supporters.
However, it seems that a duet between the exes will take a little while. After all, Shelton is now busy collaborating with his fiancée.
Shelton and Stefani’s single, “Nobody But You” earned them a nomination at the American Country Music Awards (ACM).
The happy couple is also very busy with their wedding planning. While speaking with Today, Shelton revealed that his nuptials to Stefani will take place very soon.
Even though he didn’t give the exact date of their wedding, he told host Hoda Kotb that they will tie the knot before she does. Kotb just got engaged to her fiancé, and her wedding could take place either in the summer or in the fall.
Shelton and Stefani got engaged last year while vacationing at the former’s Oklahoma ranch. The No Doubt singer’s three sons and other family members were there to witness the touching moment between the two.
