Ben Affleck is allegedly seething at Brad Pitt for hitting on his ex-girlfriend, Ana de Armas.

In its April 12 issue, New Idea claimed that Affleck is uncomfortable with the idea of Pitt and de Armas working close together. After all, the Cuban actress will be playing the role of Marilyn Monroe in Blonde, a movie that’s being produced by Pitt’s company.

Due to his involvement with Plan B productions, Pitt has reportedly been overseeing de Armas’ work in the upcoming movie. And the dad of six is impressed with the actress’s professionalism and artistry.

With this, a source alleged that Pitt is already thinking of hiring de Armas on more projects under Plan B productions. And he’s also eyeing the actress to appear in Quentin Tarantino’s next movie.

“He believes in her as this game-changing, slam-dunk Oscar winner and finds her mesmerizing onscreen and off,” the source said.

However, even though Affleck is happy to hear that his ex-girlfriend’s career is blossoming, he’s allegedly no pleased to know that she’s working so closely with Pitt.

After all, the dad of three allegedly knows that de Armas could pick any man she wants to work with. But the idea of her working with Pitt is making Jennifer Garner’s ex-husband insecure.

However, the tabloid's claims are incorrect. After all, there is no proof that Pitt wants to work with de Armas on more projects.

Earlier this year, rumors swirled that the A-listers would be working together. But it didn’t take long before it was confirmed that Pitt will just produce de Armas’ movie, but he won’t appear in it.

The other actors that will appear in Blonde include Adrien Brody, Bobby Cannavale, and Julianne Nicholson.

As for Affleck, it is also not true that he’s jealous of Pitt and de Armas’ connection. After all, it’s been months since Affleck and de Armas split.

Earlier this year, a source confirmed to People that de Armas was the one that ended her relationship with Affleck.

The insider said that one of their issues had to do with their living arrangements. De Armas didn’t want to stay in Los Angeles permanently, but Affleck needs to be there because of his kids.

Affleck and de Armas were also reportedly at different points in their lives. But there’s deep love and respect between them and their split was amicable.
