Meghan Markle Schedules A Meeting With Estranged Dad After Learning About Half-Sister’s Controversial Book Release
Meghan Markle has been estranged from her dad, Thomas Markle Sr. for almost three years now.
But New Idea claimed that this could change since Markle already reached out to her dad.
In its Jan. 18 issue, the tabloid claimed that Markle panicked when she found out that her half-sister, Samantha Markle will finally release her book, The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister.
The Duchess of Sussex is, allegedly, worried that Thomas will show her support for Samantha and her book. And this could just make things worse for Prince Harry’s wife.
As such, the insider alleged that Markle decided to finally reach out to her dad so that they could talk.
After all, this could be the only way for Thomas to stop saying negative things about her during his interviews.
“As far as I know, she hasn’t spoken to him since the wedding. But it would be in her best interest to make peace now before this gets out of control,” the source said.
The insider also said that it’s about time for Markle and her dad to hash out their issues because Thomas isn’t getting any younger.
Since the former lighting director has a heart problem, he is also susceptible to contracting the deadly coronavirus.
The insider also said that traveling between Mexico and Los Angeles must have been difficult for Thomas.
So, it would be best if Markle and Prince Harry would open the doors of their Santa Barbara home for him.
Meanwhile, it seems that the tabloid is delayed in concocting this lie about Markle and her dad.
Just this week, Thomas told Us Weekly that he’s proud of Samantha’s book.
But when the publication asked Thomas for more details about the book, he said that they should ask Samantha instead.
The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister will be released in two parts. The first part will be available starting Jan. 17.
According to Barnes and Noble, Samantha will share the truth about her life and her family amid a firestorm of fake news and media mayhem.
Samantha first announced her plans to release a book about her life and relationship with Markle in 2017 after the latter got engaged to Prince Harry.
Over a year later, she revealed that the book will be published in two parts.
Around this time, Samantha has also appeared in a slew of interviews where she slammed Markle and encouraged her to reunite with their dad.
