Queen Elizabeth Won’t Strip Prince Harry Of His Titles Despite Critics’ Demands
Prince Harry’s critics have been urging Queen Elizabeth to strip him of his titles now that he is no longer considered as a working royal.
However, royal commentator Marlene Koenig said told Globe that it’s unlikely for the queen to strip Prince Harry of his royal titles.
And even with the ongoing backlash, Prince Harry will be able to use his royal titles for as long as he wants even if he has distanced himself from The Firm.
Koenig said that there is no law that prohibits the Duke of Sussex from being called Prince Harry.
The royal commentator likened Prince Harry’s case with that of the Earl of Wharncliffe.
She said that the Earl of Wharncliffe doesn’t use his royal title every day. But there’s no stopping him from using it if he so desires.
In fact, Koenig also said that Prince Harry has the right to be called a son of the duke because Prince Charles is the Duke of Cornwall and the Duke of Rothesay.
“Everyone knows the fairy dust [Harry and Meghan] bring to the table even if they don’t use the title when signing a business deal or when they show up at the big event,” Koenig said.
In fact, Prince Harry and Markle just signed multi-year deals with Netflix and Spotify.
Another source told National Enquirer that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex must feel proud of themselves for achieving this success without the help of the royal family.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Markle also made headlines this week after a source said that the couple hopes 2021 will be all about healing.
A source told People that this is also the couple’s hope for the world and their family.
The source also said that Prince William and Prince Harry are already on their way to a reconciliation. After all, tensions, reportedly, lose heat with distance and time.
But despite the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s positive outlook for 2021, they are still faced with endless criticisms.
TalkRADIO host Kevin O’Sullivan recently reflected on the couple’s decision to hold their own Remembrance Sunday ceremony at a cemetery in Los Angeles.
He said that what Prince Harry and Markle did back then was an embarrassment to the royal family, especially Queen Elizabeth.
After all, the monarch was the one that banned Prince Harry from laying a wreath at the ceremony in the United Kingdom.
