Prince William and Prince Harry are expected to patch things up sooner rather than later.

While speaking with New Idea, former royal butler Grant Harrold talked about some of the issues within the royal family including Prince William and Prince Harry’s rift.

Harrold said that he feels like an idiot for previously saying that the royal siblings aren’t feuding. But he was surprised to learn later that they weren’t actually on good terms.

Prince Charles’ former royal butler is confident that Prince William and Prince Harry will get on each other’s good graces again. Harrold said that it’s only a matter of time.

“They’ve got a lot of history, a lot of bonds, obviously, with their mother and everything. And I think in years to come, everyone will look back and just see it as one of those little blips,” he said.

Harrold also talked about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to quit the royal family in January. He said that he was surprised by the royal couple’s decision.

The former royal butler thinks that there had been a breakdown in communication within the royal family. At that time, two statements from different households were released an hour apart.

Harrold said that this doesn’t normally happen that’s why he immediately realized that there was something bad going on.

And when it comes to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s desire to have a normal life, Harrold thinks that this is an impossibility.

“There’s no question about it, they’ll be celebrities. They are never going to have normality, it’s an impossibility. But I think they’ll use their celebrity status in order to achieve whatever it is they want to do,” he said.

Harrold also called the royal couple brave for doing whatever it is that they are doing.

The former royal butler first joined the royal household when Prince William was 22 and Prince Harry was 20. At that time, the royal siblings were just starting with their royal duties.

Now, the Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex already have their own families. And they also have kids of their own.

Harrold said that even though he’s not much older than Prince William and Prince Harry, he still feels very proud of them. He also couldn’t believe that the two, who were once boys are now full-grown and mature men.
