Drew Barrymore opened up about using a dating app and how the date didn't turn up. Yes, the 45-year-old actress who recently started her own talk show, The Drew Barrymore Show, spoke with comedian Nikki Glaser about her incident.

The actress revealed that she has been using a celebrity dating app lately, and she came across different types of people on the app. In fact, she asked the 36-year-old comedian to back her up on how every other man on the app is the best friend of his kid, a dog owner, a surfer, or a photographer.

The conversation took place virtually, and Glaser couldn't stop herself from relating to the actress' experience. She admitted that her experience made her realize that all men were following the same pattern, and it felt like a cookie-cutter.

All the profiles looked similar as Barrymore kept swiping left and right on the celebrity dating app. However, the actress confessed that after swiping on many faces, she finally come across a profile that she liked. Eventually, she fixed a meeting with the person, but the experience wasn't great. The actress disclosed that her date ditched her at the last moment.

"He stood me up at the exact time we were supposed to meet. I was like can't you be a jerk like an hour before that would have been such a time saver," she added. The actress admitted that it is not something new that she has faced, but she was annoyed because it happened at the exact time when they were supposed to meet.

The actress said that the person could have turned down the plan even one hour before. The comedian also chimed in and said that she is glad that it happened to Barrymore too. She confessed using the same dating app and said she considers these apps as DJ's jumping off yachts.

Barrymore noted that there are high profile men available on the dating app, but she has always been fascinated with men who are into comedy. In fact, she said that she usually swipes right when she comes across a comedy writer's profile because that would be fun.

The Not Safe with Nikki Glaser star reassured Barrymore that the person who canceled the meeting must be intimidated by her because he didn't show up. The actress confessed that she sometimes feels insecure about other female profiles on the app, which are available for the same men on the celebrity dating app.
