Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Prove Haters Wrong, Relationship 'Stronger Than Ever'
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s whirlwind love relationship has been the source of many headlines since they went public years ago. The two endured many ups and downs during their relationships, most especially with the continuous scrutiny they received from the media.
In the past year, the duo successfully exited from the Royal Family, stepping down as senior royals and moving away from the UK only to end up settling down in Meghan’s home country, the United States.
Despite entering a new chapter as private citizens, the royal pair were still bombarded by media attention. There were also several reports in the past year that the two’s marriage was having major problems. These reports have been proven to be wrong.
US Weekly reports that the couple who underwent major changes in 2020 has come out of it with a better relationship.
“2020 was a huge game-changer for Harry and Meghan, and it came with its ups and downs - the stress of announcing their departure from the royal family, moving three times, dealing with the pandemic, making huge business decisions. It’s brought them closer together and made them a stronger couple,” A source told US Weekly.
The pair tackled some very dreading news in the past year. Back in November, Meghan wrote an article for The New York Times revealing her experience with miscarriage in July 2020.
This event has only made Harry and Meghan’s marriage stronger and, more importantly, elevated their appreciation of their little family.
Meghan and Harry also made a big step back in June by purchasing a brand new home in California. The $14.7 million Chateau generated major traction with a lot of negative press for the couple.
It was also around this time news came out that the royal pair struck a deal with streaming giant Netflix. Although the payout was not disclosed, rumors have it that the royals got around $150 million for the deal.
This generated the necessary income for the couple to afford their brand new home and pay their $3 million debt to refurbish their UK home, Frogmore Cottage.
Success has taken Harry and Meghan by storm, and it seems like the two are not stopping anytime soon. They are concentrating on reaching out to a wider audience with their new platform, ‘Archewell.’ As for their Royal ties, everything is still up in the air for the couple.
