Kate Middleton Has A Stubborn Side, Doesn’t Mind Challenging Queen Elizabeth
Kate Middleton is gearing up to become the future queen of the United Kingdom.
In its Jan. 11 issue, Life & Style claimed that Middleton has all the makings of a good queen.
Over the years, the Duchess of Cambridge has become more at ease with her skills. And she has also become more aware of what she can contribute to the royal family.
A source told the tabloid that Middleton is also quite opinionated. And she usually fights for what she thinks is right even if it means challenging Queen Elizabeth.
Prince William’s wife doesn’t also back down. And she has, allegedly, fired several staff members because they are not good for her image.
“If an employee messes up, she won’t yell, but she will firmly correct them and give them a warning,” the source said.
Middleton is also very particular about her style. So, if her stylist picks out something for her that she doesn’t like, she would tell her directly.
According to the source, the future queen consort also has a stubborn side. After all, when she sets her sights on something, she never backs down.
Meanwhile, Middleton is also expected to modernize the monarchy together with Prince William.
As early as now, the royal couple has been trying to modernize the monarchy in their own way.
For instance, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge no longer adhere to old-school traditions such as the no hugging rule.
Prince William and Middleton are also involved in mental health initiatives even though the issue used to be a taboo among the royal family decades ago.
The insider also said that Middleton has become more at ease with herself and the idea that she and Prince William will someday become queen consort and king of Britain.
In related news, stylist and lecturer Anthony McGrath recently told Express that Middleton’s changing style indicates that she is already preparing for her future role as queen consort.
When Middleton first joined the royal family in 2011, she was known for being a conservative dresser. McGrath also said that Middleton was rarely seen wearing anything risqué.
Following her royal wedding, Middleton’s outfits, reportedly, became more modest.
She also became a style icon shortly after she joined the royal family. In fact, Middleton gave life to the term the “Kate Middleton Effect” because all the clothes that she wears were sold out within minutes.
Today, Middleton still has the same effect on consumers.
