It seems that Zayn Malik has indicated that he might propose to his girlfriend Gigi Hadid, who is reportedly expecting their first child. The singer has recently flaunted a marriage-inspired tattoo. 

 

Last week, it was reported that Malik and his supermodel girlfriend were expecting their first baby together. If the news is to be believed, the child is a daughter and due in September 2020.

 

The 27-year-old former “One Direction” singer shared what looked like a new tattoo on his arm. The tattoo featured a poem by philosopher and poet Kahlil Gibran called “On Marriage."

 

Jeweler George Khalife shared a picture of this tattoo. Khalife had recently sent the 25-year-old supermodel and the “PILLOWTALK” hitmaker a few evil eye bracelets. These bracelets were sent by the jeweler after Hadid’s confirmed that she is expecting her first child last week on Jimmy Fallon. 

 

When Fallon congratulated the model on her pregnancy, she said: “Thank you so much.” She added though she and her boyfriend wised to “have announced it” on their terms, they are “very excited and happy and grateful” for the support and well wishes from everyone. 

 

Meanwhile, Fallon who is a father of two kids told Hadid to enjoy the moment. Malik’s girlfriend mentioned that she is thankful for being able to experience her pregnancy well after being compelled to stay at home amid the coronavirus lockdown.

 

It has been also reported that Malik and Hadid are going to have a baby girl. However, despite this exciting news, the couple has had a turbulent relationship for four years and had an on-and-off romance. The duo reunited last December after having split for around a year.

 

Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid began to date in 2015. The couple met on the set of the singer’s music video for his song “PILLOWTALK,” Daily Mail reports.

 

Meanwhile, although the supermodel’s pregnancy could be an unplanned one, it was a pleasant surprise for Hadid and her singer beau. Sources to close them told PEOPLE that both of them are absolutely “thrilled” about the baby. 

 

A source from the fashion world revealed to the outlet that although the duo has “been through their ups and downs, they have never “stopped caring about the other.” The same source added that the couple is “preparing for their new lives” now. 

 

Both Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid come from big families themselves and an insider who claims to be close to the model claims that she has always wished to have several kids.
