Taylor Swift took to her Instagram handle to express her feelings about 2020. The songstress feels that last year has been “weird,” and she is looking eagerly for a happier 2021.

Meanwhile, Swifts’ BFFF Claire Winter Kislinger bid a fiercer adieu to the last year with a picture of her pop star pal. The 31-year-old singer can be seen pointing her middle finger in the photo, which Kislinger used to say goodbye to the troubled year. 

The photo was captioned with the words: “See ya never 2020.” It looked like an old picture she had taken of the Folklore hitmaker. Swift is seen donning a purple striped dress with shining sequins on it. 

The Love Story hitmaker is seen with a guy holding her, but his face is not clear in the photo. So, it cannot be said with certainty whether it was Joe Alwyn, her boyfriend or not, according to Daily Mail.

A jewelry designer by profession, Claire is often spotted attending her friend’s musical performances. She has also been going with her pal from time to time to attend award shows. 

For instance, Alwyn did not attend the American Music Awards two years ago. Swift mentioned her friend’s name while accepting an award on the stage. 

In other related news, Swift’s post on New Year’s Eve was stranger than her friend. She took to her Instagram page and posted a picture of herself with the words: “Bye, 2020, it’s been weird.” The songstress was seen donning a brown jacket over a pink top in the picture. 

Some fans tried to find out whether there was any hidden meaning in these words or not. Some followers on social media even felt that Taylor Swift was referring to the troubling finale of the horror movie titled Midsommar. 

Taylor’s second surprise album of the year, Evermore, has reached the top rank of the Billboard 200 chart for the second consecutive week. Previously, the Grammy Award-winning singer had told Zane Lowe that both her albums dropped this year took their themes from the four seasons of a year. 

While Folkore represented summer and spring, Evermore is more about winter and fall, according to the renowned singer. Although Swift feels the last year has been strange, it might have been the best year for her in terms of her two back-to-back hit album releases. 

Swift had stunned her fans when she dropped Folklore, her first surprise album of 2020, in July. It also happens to be her eighth music album.
