Prince Andrew Heading To Jail After His Alibi About Virginia Roberts Giuffre Was Busted
Prince Andrew could, allegedly, go to prison after his alibi regarding his rendezvous with Virginia Roberts Giuffre was busted.
In its Jan. 11 issue, Globe claimed that the recent disclosures of witnesses are a final nail in Prince Andrew’s coffin.
“His goose is cooked. American prosecutors have all they need to put him behind bars for a long time,” the source said.
The insider also claimed that Queen Elizabeth is urging Prince Andrew to cut a deal with the Americans and spare the monarchy further humiliation.
However, it is evident that the tabloid’s statement about Prince Andrew possibly spending years in jail is baseless.
After all, the statements that they mentioned in their article are just quotes from unnamed sources.
Those who are directly involved in the case, and those investigating Prince Andrew’s scandal, have not said anything about the royal possibly spending time in jail.
Last year, the Duke of York was accused of sexually abusing underage girls whenever he’s with his late friend, Jeffrey Epstein.
Giuffre also detailed the time she reportedly spent with Prince Andrew at Epstein’s home in New York.
However, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have adamantly denied sexually abusing Giuffre, who was still a minor at the time.
During his interview with Newsnight's Emily Maitlis last year, Prince Andrew denied meeting Giuffre on March 10, 2001, when the latter was just 17 years old.
Prince Andrew said that he was at home with his children. And he took Princess Beatrice to the Pizza Express to attend her friend’s party.
The Duke of York also revealed that he and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson have an agreement that when one of them isn’t home, the other has to be there with their daughters.
However, Globe is insisting that Prince Andrew’s alibi has been busted by U.S. prosecutors who are trying to grill him regarding his connections with Epstein.
Meanwhile, Prince Andrew also previously denied the accusations that he spent hours with Giuffre in the bathtub at Ghislaine Maxwell’s home.
The latter came to Prince Andrew’s defense by saying that her bathtub is too small to accommodate two people.
However, the tabloid claimed that investigators found out that the size of Maxwell’s bathtub can accommodate someone who has the same size as the Duke of York and another person.
As of late, Prince Andrew hasn’t been convicted of anything. But after the scandal broke out, he decided to step back from his royal duties.
