Meghan Markle, Prince Harry Donate 200 Beanies On Behalf Of Son Archie
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry just donated 200 beanies on behalf of their son, Archie.
Last year, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared an adorable photo of their son wearing a beanie while being carried by Prince Harry.
According to New Idea, this is one of the things that inspired them to donate 200 beanies to Archie’s Kiwi friends.
People revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex teamed up with New Zealand crafting company Make Give Live before Christmas to have 200 beanies designed and distributed to those in need.
The company posted about Prince Harry and Markle’s generous gift. And they also thanked New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Arden for reaching out to the couple.
“Thank you @jacindaarden for letting them know we were trying to get in touch to wish them a Merry Christmas. And thank them for shining a light on the work we do with this image that captured hearts around the world,” the company wrote.
Prince Harry and Markle also released a statement to the company by saying that they wanted to help their members to continue connecting and supporting each other during this difficult time.
This isn’t the only venture that the couple engaged in this month. Two weeks ago, it was announced that they signed a deal with Spotify to appear on a podcast.
And just this week, the first episode of their podcast has been unveiled.
The 35-minute clip featured not only the voices of Prince Harry and Markle but also the voice of their son.
Prince Harry and Markle adorably asked Archie to greet the listeners a Happy New Year.
And it seems that the 1-year-old has a mix of American and British accents.
After all, when he said “happy,” his accent sounded American.
But when he said “new,” it was evident that he was copying his dad’s British accent.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex couldn’t help but gush at their 19-month-old son when he was able to repeat the three words that they said to him.
On Christmas Day, the Sussexes’ family Christmas card was also released. And it featured a standing Archie, who inherited his dad’s curly ginger hair.
The painted Christmas card also shows Archie with his left leg above the ground, which suggests that he is now able to walk and run.
Even though Prince Harry and Markle are no longer considered as senior working royals, they still share Archie’s milestones with their fans.
