Gwen Stefani is, reportedly, still in seventh heaven, although she got engaged to her long-time boyfriend, Blake Shelton, around two months ago. A source said that she feels lucky to be with the country music star. 

The 51-year-old songstress and her 44-year-old boyfriend were dating for the last five years before they got engaged recently. Now an insider has claimed that the Hollaback Girl hitmaker is ecstatic after Shelton proposed to her. 

It seems Stefani was stunned and taken by surprise when her boyfriend proposed to her. Perhaps, it was the brightest moment of her life, according to the same source. She was not expecting the proposal at all.

The country crooner wanted to propose to his girlfriend at his Oklahoma ranch where he, Stefani, and her three boys had spent many months amid the COVID-19 lockdown. 

However, Stefani was a bit reluctant to travel from LA as she had just shifted to a new house with Shelton while filming for The Voice Season 19. She even thought they should cancel the trip. The Make Me Like You songstress said so on a show this month. 

Shelton, though, managed to convince his girlfriend to do otherwise. So, both the families arrived at his ranch for that extremely special moment in their life. The duo fell madly in love with one another while being judges on the NBC reality show The Voice five years ago. 

While Blake Shelton was earlier married to Miranda Lambert, Gwen Stefani had exchanged vows with Gavin Rossdale. Sources claim that the duo wants a small and simple wedding. However, the situation is not favorable for even that, according to People. 

As such, the love birds have decided to be patient until the health crisis improves, and they can invite their close friends and family members to attend the wedding. 

In other related news, The Voice coach hid the engagement ring he intended to give to Stefani inside his vehicle for one full week before proposing to her, according to Screen Rant. 

Shelton is the sole original coach who will still be appearing on The Voice Season 20. The singer has been judging the show since it began around nine years ago. 

Gwen Stefani is fortunate that her engagement ring did not get stolen when Blake Shelton was all set for his romantic proposal. Although the country crooner hid it in his car for a week, he later confessed that it was not a sensible move, according to Yahoo. After all, the ring came with a price tag of about $300,000.
