Princess Anne and Camilla Parker Bowles have, allegedly, been at odds with each other for years.

And their relationship became much worse after their feud was depicted in The Crown.

Now, New Idea is claiming that Princess Anne and Camilla are done with trying to show the public that everything is OK between them because this isn’t the truth.

A source told the tabloid that Princess Anne always found Camilla opportunistic. And she’s not also a fan of the fact that Prince Charles and Camilla’s roles are being widened next year.

Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip’s only daughter isn’t thrilled with the fact that Camilla has so much say with regards to the future of the monarchy. After all, she’s legally married to Prince Charles.

Camilla, on the other hand, hopes that Princess Anne will give her a chance because she’s just doing what she thinks will be best for the future o the monarchy.

“Whenever they’re in the same room, you can cut the atmosphere with a knife. They have little to nothing in common – and neither can disguise their disdain towards the other,” the source said.

The source said that Princess Anne and Camilla managed to put their differences aside throughout the past 50 years.

But even though they have been trying to show a united front in public, everyone is aware that they dislike each other.

However, one should be wary of the tabloid’s claims. After all, Princess Anne and Camilla seem to have a wonderful relationship with each other.

During one of their previous engagements, the two female royals had a good laugh after realizing that they are wearing similar outfits.

Princess Anne and Camilla also made their first public appearance together with the other members of the royal family earlier this month.

And there wasn’t any tension between the two female royals.

Rumors about their rift have been rife for years because they fell in love with the same man.

Years ago, Princess Anne, reportedly, fell in love with Andrew Parker Bowles, but he chose to marry Camilla.

Unfortunately, Andrew and Camilla’s marriage didn’t last because the latter had an affair with Prince Charles.

As for Princess Anne, she has been married twice. Following her divorce from Captain Mark Phillips, Princess Royal wed Timothy Laurence in 1992.

In the fourth season of The Crown, Princess Anne and Camilla’s relationship with Andrew was highlighted in several scenes.
