Prince Philip Begs For Queen Elizabeth’s Forgiveness After Admitting He Cheated On Her
Prince Philip, allegedly, admitted to Queen Elizabeth that he had several affairs during their 73-year marriage and hopes the monarch can forgive him.
In its Jan. 4 issue, Star claimed that Prince Philip only has a few months to live.
The dad of four is frail and bed-ridden, and he’s also been spending alone time at Windsor Castle. As such, he’s had the opportunity to reflect on his marriage and past indiscretions.
A source claimed that Prince Philip decided to come clean about his infidelities before he passes away. After all, he’s been keeping the truth from his wife and the royal family for so long.
The insider claimed that one of the people Prince Philip was linked to was Penny Romsey.
Romsey was 30 years younger than Prince Philip and was a huge threat to the queen.
Since she’s so much younger than Her Majesty, the insider claimed that the monarch felt she couldn’t compete with Romsey.
Decades ago, Prince Philip vehemently denied having an affair with Romsey. But he now wants to confirm that the speculations were all correct.
After all, the Duke of Edinburgh plans to leave some of his millions to Romsey so he has to tell the queen the truth.
Meanwhile, the tabloid also claimed that Prince Philip asked Prince William for forgiveness because he didn’t help Princess Diana when she was still alive.
The Duke of Cambridge also gave Prince Philip his last goodbye because their recent reunion might be the last.
After all, there are fears that Prince Philip could soon die because he’s already 99. And his dying wish is for the queen to forgive him for what he’s done.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. There is no proof that Prince Philip cheated on the queen. And there’s also no proof that he’s dying.
The tabloid tried to make it seem as though Prince Philip isn’t making public appearances because he’s bed-ridden.
In fact, they even questioned why he didn’t join the royal family during their recent public engagement with the queen.
But what the tabloid seemingly forgot is the fact that Prince Philip retired from his royal duties three years ago.
Back then, a palace insider said that he will only be making public appearances during engagements or special occasions that he wants to attend.
Since Prince Philip is already old, he’s no longer expected to perform royal duties.
