If there is one thing that Prince Harry regrets leaving in the United Kingdom, it is his ceremonial military titles. The royal who served actively in the Royal Armed Forces for 10 years has openly admitted to not wanting to give up his military titles and roles, a matter that is close to the Prince’s heart.

Last Tuesday, Prince Charles delivered a poignant message to the Armed services. In his speech, he gives praise to military personnel, looking very solemn.

This speech given by the heir apparent has, allegedly, moved Harry’s heart and sources close to the royal have claimed that the 37-year-old Duke is pining for the UK after hearing the moving speech.

The video of Prince Charles’s message was shared by the Ministry of Defense’s official Twitter account. The future King of England made sure to thank the service personnel for their hard work and commitment to the British Empire.

"Despite all the trial and tribulations faced in the UK this year, I'm only too aware that you've also managed to continue your routine business through the execution of essential training, operational deployments, and safeguarding the integrity of critical elements of our defence at home and overseas,” The Prince of Wales shared during his recorded message.

He then went on to say that these activities are often unnoticed but are very vital to the national security. The message delivered by Prince Charles might have struck a chord with Prince Harry, who most likely would have wanted to honor his fellow servicemen in the same manner.

During the megxit narrative, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s last appearance as senior royals, the pair attended a charity event wherein the 6th-in-line to the throne spoke about stepping down from his military roles.

In his speech, he alludes that he had no choice in the matter, as it was part of the bargain deal he struck with the Queen and other senior royal members.

He then went on to touch people’s hearts when he spoke about the unfortunate events having no power over his commitment to the British Armed Forces.

There have been several discussions on Prince Harry’s military titles, as they have been left open for a possible return by the Duke. But all directions have led to Harry’s military titles being completely relinquished from him.

Her Majesty is the only person who can reinstate these titles, but with their relationship still on the rocks, this could be a battle.
