Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Accused Of 'Media Manipulation' For Continuously Drip-Feeding Content
In recent months Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been trying to increase their presence in the media. The royal pair’s incredulous deal with Spotify and which was announced this month solidified their status as a force to be reckoned with in the coming years.
They left the British Monarchy last March 2020 in search for a more private life as well as getting more freedom financially. Currently, Prince Harry and Meghan are living in Montecito, California.
It is unfortunate that despite the duo’s behest to get the media off their back, which was also a reason cited for their exit, there rising fame in America has had negative effects on their image.
Speaking to True Royalty TV's Royal Beat, royal expert Dickie Arbiter expressed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have done nothing but ‘drip-feed’ the press on what they are doing.
"I find it extraordinary that two people who left basically because they felt press intrusion, and yet in the past 12 months, we've had nothing but drip-feeding the press about things that they're doing,” Arbiter shared.
This comes after many accused the pair of putting up a ‘ruse’ as to the real reason for their exit from the royal firm.
Unconfirmed reports alleged that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s real reason for leaving the royal family is not only due to privacy and media problems but also the couple’s greed to increase their wealth.
Both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have expressed their desire to live as ‘private citizens,’ yet their projects have only kept them in the spotlight.
It seems almost like the royal pair keeps themselves significant by releasing tidbits of their life to the public.
Recently, they were pictured out and about in California. Harry and Meghan Markle's appearance is a far cry from their usual prolific attires when being out in public. The couple opted for a simpler and more casual get-up during their day out.
They also purchased a brand new home in the US, which cost a whopping $14.7 million. The pair has been nesting in their new nine-bedroom mansion amid the pandemic and has made several virtual appearances from there, boosting their royal philanthropic profile.
Reports also came out that the pair have been working hard in patching up their relationship with the royal family, especially Prince William and Kate Middleton, to who they apparently sent several gifts for the coming Christmas Holidays.
