Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may no longer be considered as working royals, but they are still keeping up with some of the royal family’s traditions.

According to Finding Freedom author Omid Scobie, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will still release their family’s Christmas card with their son, Archie.

However, Scobie couldn’t give a date when the Sussexes’ family photo will be released.

Last year, Prince Harry and Markle surprised their fans with an adorable Christmas card featuring their son, Archie.

In the snap, Archie seemingly crawled towards the camera because his face is at the forefront of the photo.

Prince Harry and Markle are sitting on the floor behind their son and with huge smiles on their faces.

Even though Christmas is meant to be a happy affair, the Sussexes still received a backlash for sharing a black and white photo.

They were also accused of photoshopping Markle’s face into the Christmas card amid claims that she and Prince Harry were having problems in their marriage.

Additionally, royal critics also claimed that Prince Harry and Archie’s faces were digitally altered.

However, Markle’s good friend, Janina Gavankar immediately came to her defense.

On her Instagram account, Gavankar revealed that she was the one that took the original photo that Prince Harry and Markle used for their Christmas card.

The actress also called out Daily Mail for spreading lies about her friend.

“To The Mail, I see your campaign against my friend continues. Nice photoshop of my non-photo shopped image. Now may we all get back to the spirit of Christmas and not the spirit of maliciousness,” Gavankar wrote.

Meanwhile, other members of the royal family already shared their Christmas cards this year.

Prince William and Kate Middleton were the first to release their adorable family portrait that was sent out to NHS workers.

The photo features the Cambridges wearing color-coordinated outfits while sitting on a log outside Anmer Hall.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are all smiles in the Christmas card. But it is Prince Louis’ grin that won everyone’s heart.

The 2-year-old is laughing hysterically in the snap, but it is unclear what he was laughing at.

Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles also shared a candid photo taken in the gardens of Clarence House.

In the snap, the royal couple is sitting on a bench outside their home. They are laughing and chatting outdoors.

Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip have yet to release a Christmas card this year.
