Julia Roberts and Danny Moder’s marriage has been at the center of speculation for months.

In its Dec. 21 issue, Woman’s Day claimed that Moder just told Roberts that he wants a divorce. And he did it while they were on vacation and via a text message.

The tabloid published a photo of the actress walking on the beach while checking her phone.

And since Roberts isn’t smiling, they assumed that she received a devastating message from her husband.

And what could be more devastating than Moder telling Roberts that he wants out of their marriage. 

A source close to Roberts also told the tabloid that she hasn’t been happy in a long time because she and Moder are on different pages.

One of the couple’s issues, allegedly, has to do with their living arrangements.

“Julia has upped and moved him and their three kids from Malibu to San Francisco and apparently it’s made all of them miserable. Danny runs off back to LA whenever he can,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that the couple’s trip to Hawaii seemed like a make or break trip because Roberts doesn’t like the beach.

The Pretty Woman star prefers a white Christmas in the mountains of New Mexico. But the fact that she joined Moder in Hawaii could mean that she’s trying to save their marriage.

Unfortunately, the actress’s friends don’t think that Roberts and Moder could fix their issues in time for the holidays.

In fact, they are, allegedly, convinced that the actress’s post on their wedding anniversary was just for show.

After all, Roberts and Moder have been very distant from each other behind closed doors.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

Roberts and Moder aren’t splitting. And the actress using her phone while strolling on the beach doesn’t mean that she’s unhappy.

Gossip Cop also debunked the tabloid’s claims by saying that Woman’s Day isn’t the most credible source when it comes to news about Roberts and her marriage.

After all, they have been alleging time and time again that the couple is divorcing when they’re not.

If Roberts and Moder have problems, they would’ve already divorced by now. And the fact that they haven’t means that the tabloid is just spreading lies about the couple.

The rumor-debunking site also debunked the tabloid’s claims that the photo that Roberts shared online was just for show.

In the snap, she and Moder look very much in love with each other.
