Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are, allegedly, engaged, but they will make the official announcement on Christmas Day.

In its Dec. 21 issue, Woman’s Day claimed that Pitt and Aniston have been talking about marriage since they reunited two years ago.

Back then, Pitt already told Aniston that he wanted to propose to her again. But the A-listers eventually decided that it would be best if they wait until Pitt’s custody battle with Angelina Jolie is over.

The tabloid claimed that Pitt would soon find out about the judge’s ruling, and he’s confident that his request to have joint custody of his children will be granted.

And with his big win looming, he has decided to propose to the Friends star.

A source told the tabloid that Aniston has already been spotted wearing her engagement ring recently.

The actress posted an adorable photo of herself with her dog, Lord Chesterfield, on Thanksgiving. And Aniston is wearing a huge gold ring in the snap.

According to the insider, this is the engagement ring the Pitt surprised Aniston with.

Speaking of surprises, the exes are, allegedly, planning on surprising their friends with their engagement news on Christmas Day.

Aniston already told her friends that she would make a big announcement on Dec. 25. And everyone is convinced that it would be about the engagement.

However, no one wanted to burst Aniston’s bubble because they are thrilled with how happy she is.

“It’s really sweet of Jen to build up to this big announcement because lord knows everyone deserves a little bit of good news after this awful year,” the source said.

However, the tabloid’s claims couldn’t be farther from the truth.

If Aniston and Pitt have yet to tell their friends about their so-called engagement, it’s unlikely for a tabloid to be the first to know about their plans.

It is also unlikely for Pitt and Aniston to get engaged because they never got back together since their divorce in 2005.

Today, Pitt and Aniston are nothing more than friends, and they have nothing but kind words to say about each other.

Earlier this year, Aniston gushed over how sweet her ex-husband was after they reunited at the SAG Awards.

While speaking with Extra, Aniston said that Pitt was so sweet to watch her give a speech after bagging the Outstanding Female Actor in a Drama Series for her role in The Morning Show.
