Cardi B Launches New Reality Show, Cardi Tries On Social Media
Cardi B is one of those rare celebs who know their audience really well. Yes, the 28-year-old rapper has launched her own reality show, but this time on social media itself. While many fans were surprised about the sudden announcement of her reality show, it is even more surprising that the show will take place on Facebook and Instagram.
The series launched on Dec. 17, and it is titled Cardi Tries, which will allow the musician to flaunt her various talents. The WAP star will perform several activities that have never been captured in-camera. This show will mark Cardi B's return to the reality television world as she was last seen in Love & Hip-Hop in 2016 on VH1.
In the latest reality show, the rapper will practice ballet with choreographer, dancer, director, and actress Debbie Allen. Moreover, she will also make sushi and apparently serve it in a restaurant. Cardi B seems to be unstoppable with the new series that will allow her into a wig-making factory while she also tries her hands-on basketball.
The preview of the show was tweeted by the musician in which the renowned star asked Cardi B if she had ever tried her hands on ballet. The rapper immediately replied to Allen, saying that she had worked as a stripper before.
The 30 seconds clip looks absolutely fun on social media, and it will consist of eight episodes. The new show is created by Jesse Collins Entertainment and Facebook Messenger, which encourages the new feature on their platform named Watch Together.
This feature on Facebook Messenger allows friends and families connected with viewers on Facebook and Instagram to watch online content together at the same time. Cardi Tries will share a new episode every Thursday till February 4.
It will be interesting to watch more celebs joining the show as Cardi B's husband, Offset, Kollin Carter, and Tokyo Stylez, will work with other veterans from several other fields. The celebs will meet the Fast & Furious franchise's Michelle Rodriguez and Portland Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard.
In the preview of the show, Cardi B asked if she could be good at ballerina and then noted that there is only one way to know that. However, two girls looked at the camera after reviewing her performance and said that she needs to work on her technique more. It seems to be an innovative step for the rapper to share her show directly on social media rather than online streaming platforms.
