Katie Holmes will be soon a year older and appears to be busy with her shopping. The actress was spotted outside on two consecutive days on shopping sprees in New York City. 

The Batman and Robin actress was seen at an art supplies store in the Big Apple this Wednesday. It looked like the 41-year-old wanted to purchase some items for an art project. Her beau Emilio Vitolo Jr. was conspicuous by his absence.

It was a solitary day out for the Jack and Jill star as she welcomed the freezing winters in her warm camel-colored overcoat, which she sported over a tan sweater.  

The actress is known for her styling and chic fashion sense, and she did not disappoint the onlookers as usual in a pair of dark pants. Holmes wore a set of knee-length boots to counter the snowy weather. 

Her long dark hair was styled in a ponytail, and she had a big shopping bag and a tote bag with her. As always, the actress took care to conceal her face and nose with a white mask for her outing. She was seen leaving the store in a cab after completing her shopping, according to Daily Mail. 

Just a day before, the Dawson’s Creek alum was seen walking down a Manhattan street holding a new acoustic guitar. The actress appears to be in a relaxed mood during this holiday season.

Katie Holmes also carried a white canvas bag, which looked like it had her essential items in it. The actress looked comfy yet elegant in an oversized coat she wore over her turtleneck sweater. Holmes wore a set of straight-legged jeans and a pair of black boots to complete her look. 

Her boyfriend or daughter did not accompany her for this outing too. It was not clear, though, whether she had purchased the instrument for her 14-year-old daughter or her reported beau, according to another report by Daily Mail. 

The actress is often seen on dates with her boyfriend Vitolo Jr. when she is not busy with her work or going out with Suri. The pair have been almost inseparable since they first started dating publicly in September this year, according to Entertainment Tonight. 

At the same time, the actress makes sure that her daughter is not feeling neglected. She has always ensured that Suri’s needs are given the first priority.
