Kate Middleton and Prince William have been dubbed as the ‘World’s Most Premier Royal Couple,’ and they have lived up to that title in the past decade.

The relationship between the pair has always been a great example of how a married couple should work together. Although sometimes the circumstances between the two are not the most ideal, they have stuck with one another through it all.

Apparently, the marriage between the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge works very well is due to the many surprising and lovely acts Prince William has shown.

In a report by The Sun, it has been revealed that before William went down on one knee and asked Kate Middleton for her hand in marriage, he made a surprising promise to the commoner.

Royal expert Kate Nicholl claims that Prince William promised Kate Middleton that her family would not be left behind when she becomes a royal.

"When William asked Kate to marry him, he made it very clear that she wouldn't have to leave her family behind her once she married into his family. He promised her that they'd always stay a part of the family, and they have done,” Nicholl went on to explain.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s family has joined the Royal Family on several special occasions. One of the most talked-about siting of both families was during a WWI Church Memorial Service back in 2016.

During Pippa Middleton’s wedding, the younger sister of Kate, who also played as the maid-of-honor during her royal wedding, invited Prince Harry to the ceremony, showing just how close the Middleton’s were to the Windsor’s.

In return, Prince Harry invited the entire Middleton family to his wedding to American actress Meghan Markle.

This promise has been kept by the 2nd-in-line to the throne with news of him and Kate spending Christmas this year with the Middleton’s instead of with Her Majesty. There have already been reports claiming that Kate’s mother, Carole Middleton, is excited for the Cambridge children to join them in the festivities.

Prince William and Kate Middleton have always put importance in their relationship with their family, as well as their very own.

Although Kate has become a part of the British Royals now, it does not change how much she cares for her past. In a way, Kate makes sure that her family is always with her in every step that she takes as a working royal.
