In November 2019, Xolo took to Twitter to express his excitement over the forthcoming Cobra Kai Season 3. The actor even thanked his co-stars and the production crew for the “amazing work” they have put together. Though his character is confirmed to return in the next installment, it remains to be seen what he is up to now.

Another cast member shared that Cobra Kai Season 3 would have more interesting twists and turns than the first two installments. William Zabka, who portrays Johnny Lawrence, revealed that there are a lot of things to happen in the imminent new installment. The actor even said there would be “a lot of healing” and “a lot of growing” among its characters.

Another thing viewers should watch out for in Cobra Kai Season 3 is the reunion of Daniel LaRusso and his former ladylove, Kumiko (Tamlyn Tomita). During an interview, per Movieweb, the Japanese-American actress revealed that Ralph Macchio made it easier for her to adjust. She even shared she felt happy that they got reunited after 35 years.

While it was originally scheduled for release on Jan. 8, 2021, the new trailer for the imminent new series did not specify its exact release date. The entertainment publication added that moving the premiere to January 1 is a good move for Netflix as it would be the best way to bring in the new year.
