Nicole Kidman Announces Her Association With Cannabis-Based Product As Their Brand Ambassador
Nicole Kidman has now become associated with a pharmaceutical company, which is engaged in the production of cannabis-based products. She will also become the company’s global brand ambassador to promote the products.
Oscar Award-winning actress Kidman took a significant step by signing to be part of promoting a pharmaceutical company’s cannabis-based products this Tuesday. The Undoing actress is all set to help Cure Pharmaceutical increase its efforts for multi-channel distribution and sales of its pain relief and therapeutic related drugs.
Incidentally, the 51-year-old had used CBD products a year ago when she had fractured her right ankle and was immensely benefitted from them. So, it was a natural and easy decision for her to collaborate with the company, according to a press release by Cure Pharmaceuticals.
The Big Little Lies actress mentioned that she benefitted from the CBD wellness products after sustaining her injury last year. She is fully convinced that cannabis-based products are a key solution for wellness and health. The mom-of-four added that she was excited about being associated with them.
The company would be engaged in the production of pain relief serums, body creams, and its anti-aging skincare products, according to The News International. For the universe, demand for cannabis products, including CBD, has had an unprecedented surge this year.
The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has restricted people at home and limited options for their entertainment. These products are being used in high volumes to reduce stress, which was triggered during the lockdown period.
At the same time, companies could not indulge in marketing and traditional advertising because there are tough restrictions on the use of cannabis. As a result, the companies are collaborating with celebrities to make them brand ambassadors and making them promote their brands.
Nicole Kidman is not known to use marijuana in her personal life. However, her character Alice Harford was seen smoking joint on-screen in the famous Hollywood flick Eyes Wide Shut.
Meanwhile, the actress took to Instagram and posted a heartfelt and emotional tribute to her late father, who would have turned 82 this year. The award-winning actress mentioned in her post that there is not a single day she does not miss her father.
Many celebrities, including renowned makeup artist Angela Levin, wrote in the comment section of her post. Nicole Kidman also posted a solo picture of her late father, where he is seen smiling at the camera. There was another picture where her parents are seen holding a newborn child, presumably one of her daughters.
