Did Meghan Markle Defy Queen Elizabeth?
It seems that Meghan Markle is really testing the Queen these days.
When she and Prince Harry announced their exit from the royal family last January, it shocked not just the UK but the whole world. Part of their agreement with the Queen is that, upon their exit, they would no longer be allowed to use Sussex Royal or any iteration of the word royal. But, according to Express UK, it seems that Meghan is defying the order of the Queen as their Sussex Royal Instagram is still up and no one knows if they will just be kept as is or will be taken down.
The last day of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as members of the royal family was on March 31. They posted a farewell message to their more than 11 million followers by saying thank you for the support and inspiration. They also said that they will take this time to focus on their new chapter in their life and see how they can best contribute.
It looks like they have found a small way to do that. Prince Harry and Meghan settled in LA after staying for a while in Vancouver. There are conflicting reports on where they live. Some reports say that they are still in the process of buying a house while another report claims that they chose to live in Serra Retreat in Malibu where many other popular figures also live.
But they are making themselves more noticeable if basing on their recent actions. They have not only volunteered for Project Angel Food but Meghan also made time to get interviewed on 'Good Morning America' for her participation in the documentary 'Elephant' which is currently streaming on Disney +.
It looks like they are really trying to make their mark in America. They have not yet revealed what their other plans are, but they did say that their new brand will be named Archewell. They have not said whether the Sussex Royal accounts and website will cease to exist once Archewell has been launched.
Speaking of Archewell, their son Archie, who's name is actually inspired by their brand, will be celebrating his first birthday on May 6. To mark the occasion, various publications have reported that his parents will be releasing new photos. The last pictures of him on the Sussex Royal account was uploaded on the first day of the year, so the new pictures will really show just how much he has grown in the last months.
