Prince Charles was, allegedly, forced to leave the palace after he was depicted as an abusive and heartless husband to Princess Diana in The Crown.

In its Dec. 14 issue, Woman’s Day claimed that Queen Elizabeth was so enraged with how Prince Charles depicted that she has decided to cut ties with him.

The queen has had a very difficult year and the fact that viewers suddenly remembered Prince Charles had an affair with Camilla Parker Bowles just made things worse.

A source for the tabloid also claimed that the queen cannot take any more blows to the royal family this year that’s why she decided to kick Prince Charles out of the palace.

And since the monarch thinks that Prince William and Kate Middleton are more trustworthy, she has decided to pass on the throne to her grandson.

However, Gossip Cop debunked the tabloid’s claims by saying that they are incorrect.

Prince Charles and Camilla had an affair when Princess Diana was still alive. Back then, the affair was regarded as one of the biggest scandals in the royal family’s history.

But even if this was the case, the queen didn’t ask Prince Charles to step down from his duties then.

In fact, years after Princess Diana passed away, Prince Charles and Camilla tied the knot in a civil ceremony.

Even though the queen didn’t attend the nuptials, she gave Prince Charles and Camilla her blessing to wed.

If the queen was still opposed to their relationship in 2005, she wouldn’t have allowed Prince Charles and Camilla to tie the knot then.

The rumor-debunking site also said that the public’s opinion of Prince Charles doesn’t matter when it comes to the order of succession.

After all, the Succession to the Crown Act 2013 has to do with blood and lineage and not public opinion.

Prince William won’t succeed that queen because he isn’t the heir to the throne. Rather, he’s just second in line to the throne and he will succeed Prince Charles.

Prince Charles is heir to the throne, and he will become king because he is the eldest child of the reigning monarch.

And the only time for Prince William to be king is when Prince Charles dies or abdicates.

Prince Charles’ suitability as king may have been questioned by critics time and again. However, their opinions don’t matter because even the queen cannot change the order of succession herself.
