Brad Pitt’s Reputation Tarnished By This Big Controversy?
Brad Pitt is often referred to as the Golden Boy of Hollywood. However, there have been several instances when he has been involved in undesirable controversies.
He is one of the most popular actors globally. However, that does not mean that Pitt’s name has not got entangled in controversies. The actor is known for his humanitarian work and was in the news for the wrong reasons for a project of his Make It Right Foundation.
Residents of a locality, which his foundation helped to reconstruct, had plenty to complain about. They said the architecture of their buildings was not up to the mark, and gas meters were installed incorrectly, making their living conditions unsafe.
The project was meant for the people who suffered from the repercussions of Hurricane Katrina. However, the victims accused that his organization did not do enough to make things right.
To make things worse, both the actor and his foundation were sued in 2018. However, the actor said his name should be removed from the lawsuit as he had made certain press releases.
These statements should not be regarded as promises made to the victims because his role in the foundation has just been in the capacity of a director. In turn, Pitt and the Make it Right Foundation slapped John C. Williams, the architect of the project, for a whopping $20 million for his association with substandard construction work.
The locality residents requested the foundation several times to do the necessary repairs, but the latter reverted only with insignificant measures. According to The News International, a publication even reported that the Ad Astra actor’s foundation was not active at all.
Meanwhile, there is a possibility of an online reunion of Brad Pitt and Australian actress Margot Robbie. The duo acted in the 2019 blockbuster Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
It seems talks are on for the entry of Robbie to replace Emma Stone in the period drama Babylon. Stone, reportedly, exited due to scheduling conflicts, according to Deadline.
If the deal comes through, the actors will be working with Damien Chazelle, who was also the director of the hit film La La Land. Babylon will be an R-rated drama and is set in the backdrop of the period when Hollywood was transitioning from silent films to talkies.
While Pitt could be one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors, that does not mean he has been short of girlfriends or linkups. The actor has always been gossip-worthy and has been linked to a string of stunning women.
His personal life has always been under the scanner, starting from Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie to Gwyneth Paltrow, Jill Schoelen, and Juliette Lewis. On most occasions, Brad Pitt has been older than his girlfriends, according to Showbiz Cheat Sheet.
